Born in France, André-Jacques immigrated to Canada with his family in 1958, along with his brother Pascal. Both boys were sent to boarding school for several years after their arrival in Canada. Initiated to judo at the age of 7, André-Jacques was a lonely child and teenager who was given to fighting, although he was not quarrelsome or vindictive. His motto as a youth, no doubt inspired by his extensive reading, was “Red and black, death and blood”.
Today, after more than 50 years of martial arts practice, André-Jacques has the following ranks:
Founder of SDS, the Serei Defense System, a simple and efficient system that takes into account the legal, moral and psychological aspects of the predator and of the victim, and which is available for teaching as a franchise.
André-Jacques is also a dog training advisor and motorcycle lover who is a member of the Iron Butt Association. If you want to take a long trip on a motorcycle, give him a call!
